Those of you who were lucky enough to have some free time this weekend, were gifted with the spring like warmth that few Thunder Bay-ians have seen so early in the year. I would be mighty disappointed if people hadn’t thrown off the winter dust and stepped out into the bright glow that shone down on all Saturday.
For myself, I rounded up the cabin feverish kids and the lazy Boston Terrier and headed to the Marina for some much needed exercise. It may have been wet, but the weather was fine and man did it burn of the built up energy the kids have been stockpiling all winter. I guess all we can do is keep our fingers crossed that the warm weather is here to stay.
To wrap up a wonderful Saturday, Chris and I headed to Shooter’s Tavern for the Babes of Thunder Bay Fundraising event. We teamed up to take on the Derby Girls to help raise money for their new jersey’s. It was a fun night and the girls were great. We won two out of three rounds; only getting our asses kicked in pool. Luckily we rose from the ashes of defeat to totally murder the girls in Foosball and beer pong.
